<p>It’s difficult to cover a whole event edequately with 1 camera, decide which camera will be shooting which part of the event, master shot, close ups of audience and performances. &nbsp;That way you won’t miss anything out with assigned roles.</p>



<p>4. Beware of your Batteries!</p>



<p>Bring sufficient batteries. If you can’t get a hold of enough batteries, have the least minimum of 3. Always have atleast 1 backup battery on you incase the 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;one is charging and the 3<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;being used and alterlate and anticipate your event so you wont miss out anything.</p>



<p>5. Anticipate and use hand held</p>



<p>Don’t be afraid to use hand held, turn your body into a stabliliser, get close ups of everything and everyone. Shooting with handheld gives your more mobility than of with a tripod in case of sudden changes in the event. Plus, a camera propped on a tripod with a master shot isn’t suffiecient to show the liveliness of an event, show people whats happening in the event.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While Malaysians celebrated Deepavali public holiday, we had the fantastic experience of assisting an international video production crew in shooting at various interesting locations in Kuala Lumpur.</p>
<p>The ambitious TV commercial was managed by SeeMe Productions of Pakistan, with award-winning director Anders Forsman of Sweden at the helm. The production took them to London, New York, Dubai, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur over a span of a month.</p>
<p>Kuala Lumpur was their last stop and they had high-expectations of getting the <em>perfect shots</em> in one day. The fact that they chose Deepavali day as the date of shooting made things very challenging, as one of the locations selected for the shoot was Batu Caves!</p>
<p>Nevertheless, in cooperation with professional local production house Avvassi Productions, we defied all odds with just barely 3 weeks to plan and organise the necessary manpower, professional equipment, logistics, props, authority approvals, talents and more.</p>
<p>The shoot began at 6.00am at KLCC, moving on to Central Market in the afternoon and then to Batu Caves in the evening, wrapping up at 6.30pm.</p>
<p>To be part of this grand production and all the effort, for a mere 13 seconds of Malaysia’s finest destinations in this international TV commercial, made it all so worthwhile.</p>

<p>MYM-ImageWorks had the honour and pleasure of joining forces with Lazada Malaysia, to help its growing base of e-commerce sellers improve their online selling skills and their e-stores.</p>



<p>As a sponsor of the Lazada E-Commerce Seller Conference 2017, we were invited to share our knowledge in <em>professional product photography</em> and <em>social media marketing </em>to over 2,000 participants comprising of new and established merchants.</p>



<p>Our commitment with Lazada Malaysia also saw us being listed as an exclusive marketplace vendor for professional photography, website development and social media marketing for its sellers. These services were offered to Lazada sellers at extremely competitive rates, mainly targeted at helping new and small merchants obtain professional-looking e-commerce stores quickly with low-overhead costs.</p>



<p>We also provided training sessions at several Lazada seller focus-group events. Through this event, we had the pleasure of meeting many entrepreneurs who benefited from our knowledge-sharing, with some becoming our very own customers.</p>



<p>As with everything we do, we used the occasion to demonstrate a simple, low-cost and highly effective method of marketing.</p>



<p>We took the opportunity to design our flyer as a “door hanger” that we could hang at all entrance doors for visitors to pick up. The flyer also had to have an interesting message that Lazada sellers could relate to, making them even more interested to get one!</p>



<p>It proved to be a hit as many sellers grabbed our flyers, not because we were famous, but because it was unique and interesting. While it made our effort to distribute our flyers so much easier, it also left visitors with a memorable and pleasant introduction to MYM-ImageWorks and what we could do for them.</p>
